FAQ's for Payer

Registration:

Registration is not necessary for the fee payment with Feegenie. The payer has to provide admission no and Registered Contact No. and the system will display the invoice as per relevant information provided by the institution. In case, if the payer wants to know his payment history or wants to regenerate the receipt, he has to register himself in the Payer Login and thus he can view the payment history and other relevant information.

Update Information

You are needed to update the same as in institution's records first. Contact your institution's administration for the same. Your contact details will be updated in Feegenie as per prior verification from the institutions.

Payment

The following payment options are available for payment:
  • Credit Card
  • Debit/Maestro Card
  • Net Banking
Yes. Feegenie supports almost 48+ banks. So, every public sector as well as private sector bank is supported on this portal.
Fees amount will be paid as per the amount in the invoice raised by the institutions. You can keep money in our E-wallet service provider i.e. Citrus Wallet and pay the fee for the next payment cycle with the E-wallet.
On the Invoice, you can see the Due date as well as the End Date. The Due date is the date by which the Invoice can be paid without incurring a Late Fee. If payment has not been made by the Due Date, the online Invoice is auto-updated with the Late Fee (if applicable), and this revised amount can be paid by you before the expiry of the End Date with late fee. If the payment has still not been paid by the End Date, you can't pay your fee online with Feegenie. Then, you need to get in touch with your Institution to make the payment. However, the due date or end date can be extended as per prior approval from the institutions.
As per the institution's policy, if the institution has opted part payments facility or, the same has been allowed at the institution's end then, the Invoice will be regenerated with the revised amount, and you can pay the fee in parts. Or, in otherwise case, if not allowed from the institution, the entire amount of the Invoice has to be paid, and as such our system cannot accept part payments against the same. However in no case, can the system accept an amount that is different from that listed on the Invoice unless the same has been allowed by the institution's end.
The Invoices are generated based on the information provided by the institution, which is considered 99.99% accurate. However, if the Invoice does not seem right, kindly get in touch with the respective institution for the clarification.
Credit card
Feegenie supports almost all Credit cards like: Visa, MasterCard, Diners/Discover Cards, AMEX/JCB Cards etc. To pay using your credit card you will need your card number, expiry date, three-digit CVV number (on the backside of your card). After providing these details, on the payment page you will be redirected to the respective card association webpage to enter online 3D secure password i.e. OTP. Once the transaction is successful, an E-receipt will be sent on your registered Email ID and, also a pop-up will be displayed for successful transaction as well.

Debit card
Feegenie supports almost all Debit cards like: Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, RuPay Cards etc. To pay using your debit card at checkout / payment page you will need your card number, expiry date, three-digit CVV number After entering these details, on the payment page you will be redirected to the respective card association webpage to enter online 3D secure password i.e. OTP. Once the transaction is successful, an E-receipt will be sent on your registered Email ID and, also a pop-up will be displayed for successful transaction as well.

Net banking
Feegenie offers you the convenience of using your Net Banking service to make the fee payment. With this you can directly pay your fee from your bank account, while conducting a highly secure transaction. To pay using Net banking at the payment page you will need your Username and password/IPIN (registered with your bank) and OTP (one time password or/security question asked by your bank. Once the transaction is successful, an E-receipt will be sent on your registered Email ID and, also a pop-up will be displayed for successful transaction as well.

E-wallet
Feegenie allows you to pay the fee via our E-wallet service provider i.e. Citrus Wallet.
You can keep some money in the Citrus E-wallet and pay it via the same. This option is very convenient in a case if you are not carrying your Debit/Credit cards with you and/or forgot your Netbanking credentials, or do not have the same.
You just need to register yourself on Citrus with the required information and get some prepaid money in your Citrus E-wallet via Credit/Debit cards or Netbanking.
The following details need to be known in advance before making an online payment: Debit/Credit cards
  • Card number
  • Expiry date
  • Three-digit CVV number
  • Your 3D Secure password/ onetime password (OTP)
Netbanking
  • Online Login ID & Password
  • Onetime password (OTP) valid for a limited time which you will have to provide in along with your credentials to access your online bank account
E-wallet
  • Your registered username and password with Citrus E-wallet/Credentials for Your Citrus E-wallet
There are multiple options available to a payer to make the fee payment which are: Debit/Credit cards
  • Almost three options: "Pay Fee Now" available on Feegenie Website, where you have to search for your institution to make the fee payment.
  • Paying through the institution's Microsite (a small website especially provided to all the client institutions and their payers for the fee payment).You can get the Microsite of your institution in the logo displayed on the slideshow on Feegenie's homepage.
  • Pay through the android app available on the GooglePlay: FEEGENIE.
  • Pay through the "Proceed to Pay" link in the E-invoices sent to you on your registered E-mail ID.

Payment Status:

With every Payment cycle, an e-invoice will be sent to every payer on their registered E-mail ID's. In such a case, if they do not receive any invoice, then they can have their invoices on the payer profile (need registration if payers do not have a payer profile) or E-mail us at: contactus@feegenie.com or call us at our support No's:9034026446, 9034026445.
  • If your payment transaction was processed successfully, you can also download or print your e-receipt immediately after payment.
  • Once the transaction is successful, an E-receipt will be sent on your registered Email ID and, also a pop-up will be displayed for successful transaction as well.
  • You will also receive a confirmation text on your registered contact no.
  • In case you are unable to obtain it as above mentioned options, then you can have your paid receipts on the payer profile (need registration if payers do not have a payer profile) or, can E-mail us at: contactus@feegenie.com or call us at our support No's: 9034026446, 9034026445

Notifications:

Once the transaction is completed successfully, a pop-up will be displayed for successful transaction and confirmation of the same is sent instantly via SMS as well to your registered mobile number. In addition, the E-receipt is sent via email to your registered Email ID, and you should receive this within few minutes.
You don't need to do anything, as reminders will be sent automatically by Feegenie on your registered E-mail ID and Phone numbers atleast 10 days before the due date to avoid late fee charges, as per the due date specified by the Institution.

Security :

  • FeeGenie is shielded with 2048bit RSA Public key based HTTPS (SSL) Connection, highest available till the date to ensure the end to end safe and secured transactions.
  • All Netbanking, Credit card and debit card payments on Feegenie are managed through secured and trusted payment gateways.
  • 3-D Security: For All payments made by end users, FeeGenie ensures it to be verified by 3D Security authentication before completion. A multi-tenancy system is placed to keep an individual's data safe and secure. With the use of the 3D secure password and two-factor authentication by banks for online transactions, an additional layer of security through identity verification is provided. Moreover your card and other personal details are not stored on our systems as you transact directly on the bank's pages.
  • Fraud Detection & Prevention system is also placed to avoid misuse of the customer's transaction data and reduces the charge back.

Receipt

Once your transaction is successfully completed you will immediately receive an E-Receipt on your registered Email ID or, you can have your paid receipts on the payer profile (need registration if payers do not have a payer profile) or, can be downloaded it directly after successful fee payment.
Yes, e-receipts can be used for income tax purposes.

Error

For any error during a transaction, do the following:
  • Ensure all details are entered correctly.
  • For Credit / Debit card: Ensure that the Credit card number, CVV, Expiry date and 3D secure are correctly entered.
  • For Net Banking: Check ID and Password of the respective bank are entered correctly.

FAQ's for Payer Login:

No, it is not necessary to create a payer account on Feegenie to pay fee online.
  • Go to homepage of Feegenie: www.feegenie.com
  • Click on the menu: "Payer login" on the right of the homepage.
  • Then, select "Registration as a Payer".
  • Here, a screen appears to user which asks for your mandatory details: Name, E-mail, Mobile no. By accepting to t&c, a payer account will be created and which is needed to be verified from your end.
  • A verification mail at your registered E-mail ID will be dropped, verifying which will drop your Login credentials at your E-mail Id.
As soon as you will sign up as a new payer, a verification mail will be dropped at your registered E-mail ID. After verification from your end, you will receive the login credentials on the same E-mail ID with which you can log in to your payer account.
You can change/add your new contact details as well as profile information on the "profile" option on the dashboard. Click on "Profile" option on the dashboard and then, select "My Profile" option in the list displayed under "Profile" menu. Here, you can add your new contact details or can update it accordingly.
The paid or pending invoices, if any can be viewed, by "Invoices" Option on the dashboard. Here, you can print your corresponding invoices or can save in as PDF file.
You can view your payment history as well as last fee paid in any sectors like: Educational institutions or Clubs/Gymnasiums or in associations by the "View Payment History" option on the dashboard.
  • With a Payer account, you can save your pending invoices as well as receipts against paid invoices with respect to every sector, saved as like in a digital depository, Which supports our motto: to support DigiLocker Concept in India.
  • You can add multiple contacts to your contact list with either Contact No. or E-mail ID.
  • You can print your corresponding paid or pending invoices or can save in as PDF file.

Yes, you will be e-mailed all he coupon codes and with details which will be displayed on Feegenie's advertiser portal. Also, you will be given a hard copy of the same to cross- check with the coming payers at your outlet to let them avail discount.
Yes, you will receive on SMS notification of the coupons selected by the payers on the Feegenie's website.
If such kind of case occurs, then surely the coupon do not belong to your outlet or, the coupon code is wrong. In that case, you should not give any discount to the payer.
You will be e-mailed the list of all the coupons designed for your outlet along with the discount details. As a payer comes for the discount, you can cross-check the coupon code, cut it down from the list and give the payer an immediate discount. Also, you will be given a hard copy of the coupon details (list) for your reference.

Payer Side:

You can click on the link dropped to you on SMS i.e. www.feegenie.com/advertisers.
Here, you can get a list of coupons to choose from (with the selected vendors).
Yes, You can select multiple coupons to avail discount.
No, there is no such limitation on no. of coupons selected or the total amount with all the Selected coupons.
After you select coupon(s), the coupon code will be sent to you via SMS, which you can Redeem at the selected vendor's outlet.
After you select a coupon. You have to visit again on the link of coupons provided to you on the text message and then select next coupon. Thus, you can select multiple coupons to avail a huge discount with the selected vendors.
After you have selected a coupon, your screen has been closed. Then you have to visit the link of coupons provided to you on the txt message (www.feegenie.com/advertisers) and then select another coupon from there. Thus, you can select multiple coupons to avail a huge discount.
You can select another coupon or the same coupon again from the link of coupons Provided to you in an initial SMS or can visit the page: www.feegenie.com/advertisers. Here, you will get a list of coupons to choose from. The coupon code for the coupon you Will select will be dropped to you via text message.
In this case, you can select another coupon which is valid till the date from the coupon's List.
You can ask vendor for the possible reasons or There can be two reasons for this: either the coupon has been expired or the coupon is not valid with the vendor you've visited.
